Mr. Patel brings over 20 years of experience in both full and select service hotels. His expertise lies in site selection, developing, building and investing in select hotel brands.

Mr. Patel’s extensive portfolio has included several Marriott, Hilton, Choice, Best Western and Independent properties throughout the New York City metropolitan area.

He brings a unique blend of hotel operations in conjunction with construction and real estate knowledge.

As the Principal and Founder of Bijal Corporation, he has established a history and reputation for successful development and management of all of his properties.

VP of Business Development

Ashish brings over 15 years experience in the hotel industry to Bijal Hospitality Management. He plays a key role in FF& E purchasing and project developments.

Ashish has extensive relationships with capital market providers and various leading hotel brands. He is instrumental in focusing and directing the construction and the renovation of all hotels in our portfolio.

Ketan Patel
Chief Operation Officer

Ketan oversees Bijal’s expanding hotel portfolio. He brings to the company extensive analytical and management skills.

He has a key role in operations, acquisitions, projects and purchasing.

Ketan coordinates Owner relations, negotiates franchise agreements and is instrumental in assisting the owner and lenders on the hotel sales, site selection, financing an all new build developments. His expertise includes most major Hotel brands as well as boutique and non-branded hotels.

Barbara Montalbano
Regional Director of Operations

Barbara brings more than 2 decades of award winning operating experience with both full and select service hotels.  With a strong background in Food and Beverage, Operations, and Sales and Marketing, Barbara is an energetic and hands on leader.

She is responsible for executing policies, systems and procedures as well as delivering profitable operating results.

Barbara is the recipient of Marriott’s prestigious General Manager of the Year Award. In addition, she has served on the Board of Directors for the Long Island Convention and Visitor’s Bureau for the past several years.

Praveen Gajaria
Chief Financial Officer

Over 13 years as a CPA with an MBA in Finance, Praveen is responsible for the installation and evaluation of numerous internal controls and banking regulations. He oversees the preparation of Sales, Occupancy and LLC Tax returns.

Praveen prepares required periodic financial internal and external reports as required. He maintains systems to adequately control and effectively safeguard the assets of the company and to assure all transactions are properly reflected and recorded.

He implements develops and maintains effective control of all food, beverage, labor, supply and equipment costs.
